ellid | Yule, and other things

Yule was wonderful.

harpnfiddle got her AoA, as did Eli and

pezgirl247. Tom and Fiona were given Silver Crescents, Concentus performed with Fracta Modi (who are *very* good, and we all sound great together), and I got so many compliments on my Byzantine gown that I think I'm going to make me a few more Byzantines, at least for winter. Great food, great music, great fun, and terrific conversations with friends - it was about as perfect an event as I've ever attended.

I also came away with a rare treasure from the auction: a fake wood plaque of a knight on horseback. I'll post a picture later of it, but suffice to say that it's been auctioned off three times before and always donated at next year's auction, and I plan to continue that fine tradition next year. ;)
