Thank you for not getting the pic of the cheesey palm tree behind that cake! The professional photographers took a flash shot that shows the thing too much, your shot came out wonderful. :)

That cake was da bomb. Creative Cakes by Donna. Chocolate, with a chocolate-raspberry filling, and great fondant covering. :)

Our wedding was at The Adams Mill in Manchester, CT - the cake being part of the package was a great deal (fondant, extra, but who cares, she did a great job).

We are so scarfing what's left of the cake in February (legal wedding anniversary). 8)

= serious Nom.

By the way, Creative Cakes by Donna gives free tastings. 8)
Based out of Haddam. Just on the west side of the bridge by the opera house and 2 or 3 houses up the road on the left, home studio-like.

Funny/sad part about that tasting was going in there with a *head cold* and not being able to smell or taste a damn thing, while Greg was gushing about how INCREDIBLE the office and kitchen smelled.

Tried blowing my nose... nothing. I was able to taste for texture. :P

Thankfully... She sent us home with samples, so a couple of days later, I had a clue of which cakes worked, and which did not.
(Key lime pie with mandarin oranges = not my thing).

All the pictures are lovely, but I particularly like the Yule Court pictures. Thank you for sharing them.

Nice to finally get to see the infamous two out of three kitties!
(There is no Zuul, only kitteh). :)

By the way, saw Michael today. Pneumonia's all gone, and Max was very well behaved at my parents' house. Greg took a pic of the dog on his cell phone, and may have a new avatar soon...

Thank you for posting these wonderful pics. If you have more, we'd love a CD of them!
