Have I suddenly developed an allergy to Lubriderm? Or glue?

*whimpers*

*hugs* It may just be contact dermatitis - I get that with certain flowers in my work.

Hope it's nothing serious!! :(

Possibly for the same reason that mine are:
dry skin + winter dry air + regular hand-washing = rash

The problem is that lotion seems to make it worse...?

It certainly can (aloe, frex, makes some people break out)--BTDT. The only things that seem to work for my skin these days are Eucerin and plain petroleum jelly; if I get a rash in spite of these ministrations, a couple days' application of prescription cortisone-based ointment clears it up.

some lotions have alcohol in them to dry faster. most creams do not, which is why they take longer to rub in.
