Oh good lord. I've been hearing about this for a couple of days, since people started hearing about Obama supposedly wanting to form a civil defense force. I figure if Texas seceded from the Union it would be invaded by Mexico within the week. It's not like we have our own military equipment other than firearms.
There is an interest in secession in many states. Including Massachusetts. Yes it's currently illegal to secede. That doesn't stop people from wanting to have no part of what their federal gov't is doing.
I may be wrong, but I believe there is something in written about how the gov't should be listened to unless it become a tyranny.
