As so many of you pointed out yesterday, my elderly friend not only was not offended by being sent the snopes.com entry about the "godless dollar coins," she thanked me for pointing it out! It turns out that she regularly compares the claims in chain letters to snopes.com fact-checking, but didn't have time for that particular e-mail.

I'm absurdly pleased :)
