Addendum to health update

Add in something else I seem to be somewhat allergic to: cortisone cream. Which I used, per Baystate's aftercare instructions, on a patch of irritated skin around the Steri-Strips that are covering my incisions.

I had some really lovely red marks from the steri strips, but I already knew I had issues with adhesive bandages, and I had them on for a week and a half. If I leave bandaids on for more than 72 hours, my skin comes off with it.

I ended up with *blisters*. Not much fun.

I also have some lovely yellow bruises around the incision sites. The incisions themselves are about a quarter inch long, and strongly resemble kitty claw marks. Unless you know that I've had a biopsy, you'd never guess from their appearance.

You might be allergic to the adhesive on the steri-strip. Poor thing.
