After a hectic week at work, it was a huge relief to have a relatively quiet weekend -

- Did a load of laundry, including all the new stuff from Sally's.

- Consolidated all my credit cards into a single loan, paid off the one where the goddamn thieves at Citibank bank was about to raise the interest rate by 6 percent, paid down one by two-thirds, and reduced the home equity loan to a laughable amount. This is a Good Thing, because it will force me to budget better AND will drastically reduce the bank's lien on the Shack in case of disaster.

- Served as chaffeur for two sweet ladies in poor health so they could attend T and B's 20th wedding anniversary party/renewal of vows. Concentus sang, there was a great party afterwards, and I mended fences with people who had been yet another group damaged by IE's exodus all those years ago. Food, friends, laughter, love, and music - who could ask for more?

- Slept late two straight days and feel much more rested.

- Finished a writing project and sent it off on schedule.

- Hemmed a skirt and mended a chenille sweater from Sally's.

- Medicated Malfoy-the-cat and got a good look at his paw. The wound left by the ingrown claw is healing very cleanly, with no smell of infection, and the new claw that's growing in looks healthy and white. The hair has almost completely regrown on his toes, so it no longer looks like he's got these weird pink appendages hanging off his leg; he's double-pawed, so the hairless toes were somewhat peculiar looking.

- Made an appointment at the Comprehensive Breast Center to go over the biopsy results so I'll know what my mammogram schedule will be over the next few years.*

- Finished new knitted wristlets using [livejournal.com profile] countessinn's beautiful handspun, and am finishing up a knitted hat.

All in all, productive and quiet. And how was your weekend?
