First and foremost...all of my friends, both in the flesh and in the ether, who have been so supportive of me this year and all years. May you be blessed in all ways.
Second, my health. I have aches, pains, and a lil' friend in my ear that sometimes drives me nuts, but thank God and the angels for negative biopsies. Next year I will be walking for breast cancer, not only for Betty and Roomie, but for me. "There but for the grace of God...."
Third, my job. As insane as it can get, it is a thousand times better than the Agency. 'nuff said.
Fourth, my research and study go well.
Fifth, I have a (new) roof over my head, money in the bank, funds for my retirement, food in the refrigerator, and clothes in the closet.
Sixth, the Triple Felinoid, alive and well and as demanding as ever.
Seventh, more emotional stability than I've had in my adult life.
I'd say that's pretty good for this year.

As for Thanksgiving itself, I spent the day with Una and her family. We ate, we drank, we laughed, we watched Star Trek on DVD (the gag reel was hilarious, especially the line dancing in the shuttlecraft bay), and I started work on ribbed wristlets on double points. Now I'm home, sleepy, and preparing to see an old friend for lunch tomorrow.
I hope all are well, safe, and content. God bless and keep you this night and always, and may all of you reading this have the strength and security to face the world as the days grow shorter in the sun.
