Based on the annoying robocalls I've received from two of the candidates (Pagliucca and Coakley), I was already leaning toward voting for Mike Capuano or Alan Khazei. But after Pagliucca said last night that he'd vote for the final health care bill even if it contained the Stupak-Pitts Amendment...
Well. It was refreshing indeed to hear the Attorney General say that this was personal for her as a woman, and that she regarded Stupak-Pitts as a poison pill. It was even more refreshing to hear Mike Capuano say that this amendment would drive poor women straight into the back alleys for abortion services.
Right now I'm leaning toward Capuano but I still might vote for Coakley. But Pagliucca? He can take his millions and shove them. I am sick to death of women being once again shunted aside supposedly in favor of the greater good, even if he's only doing so in a local debate.
