fitzw just e-mailed Concentus to tell us that he and helwen are stranded in Ashfield due to white-out conditions on the roads. They told us to practice if we felt like it, but I think I'm going to skip. I'm feeling a bit less woozy, which is good, but I'm due to take my second meclizine in the next hour or so and do not wish to risk drowsiness on the roads, so it's probably best that I stay home tonight.

Safety is good.

The wind is kicking up down here, too, and it's snowing a bit. I think Mount Tom will protect us from white out down here, but Holyoke is another story. It's definitely a cocooning night for me. How are things up in the hills?

Pirate is doing much better. Her knee is still sore, but she is much more mobile now. Which is good since I managed to injure myself on NYE.

And boy are we warm - it was suddenly 70 degrees today! What happened to our "winter"?
