Date: 2010-02-13 04:40 pm (UTC)From:I met Frederik Pohl nearly 25 years ago, when I invited him to be interviewed at the library where I work. He seemed very old to me then -- but so gentle and courtly! I remember he wore a hand-painted tie he'd been given in China.
