Ever since the surgery, my ability to spell has really deteriorated. I'm also mildly dyslexic (which sucks since part of my job is reconciling and receipts and cutting checks), which I wasn't before, and I'm finding myself using the wrong words, usually prepositions but sometimes spectacular glitches like "elevator" for "reservation."

Here's what it looks like when I type:

The quick brown fox jumped over the oazy dog who was fast slaeep. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the party. Four scroe and seven years ago. We the people of the United States of America. Peter Piper picked a peck or pickelda peppers. She seels seasheels byt the seashores.

I have NEVER had this problem before, and it's frankly getting a bit scrazy (scary). Did the anesthesia damage my brain? Am I always going to be like this/? Is this the begining of Alazhamimer's -

See what ai I mean?????

Have you spoken to your doctor about this yet?

I'm seeing my primary care doctor next Wednesday. It'll be part physical and mainly this, plus my flu shot (which I need because so many of my co-workers travel).

I've seen some stuff on the Internet about anesthesia affecting cognitive abilities, but actually having it happen is scary.
