Thursday night the check engine light came on in my car. It's happened before when I didn't tighten the gas cap enough, so I retightened it and figured that would work.
Light was still on yesterday. I got to and from work just fine, but made arrangements for a ride to Crestfallen today. Ride fell through due to other person feeling ill. I wasn't feeling too great myself so decided to bag it.
Just went outside to try to start the car to run an errand...and it won't even turn over. We've had a lot of water the last few days so something electrical could be damaged, but if this means high-end repairs I'm not sure what I'll do. Budget is tight and I really can't afford to replace either the engine or the car (which still has 2+ years of payments).
Can I go back to bed and start over?
