I finally took a chance and did what several people have urged me to do for a while: took the plunge and bought a table at my church craft fair. I sold knitted novelty scarves and hand-dyed silk scarves, and frankly was terrified that I'd spent $25 for nothing.

I needn't have worried. I made back my table fee, the money I spent on scarf blanks, and had enough left over to buy groceries and cat food, plus money to spare. I'm definitely ordering more scarf blanks after my next paycheck and selling them at the church gift shop next month.

Whee!

Congratulations! That sort of thing is often a fine balance between outlay and income, but if you can make any sort of profit you're doing well.
