It's only flurries here, but the forecast is grim. I went out this morning in quest of food, rock salt and a new shovel, deposited two checks into the ATM in Northampton, and have spent the day dyeing scarves and cleaning the living room. Tomorrow I will tackle the dining room and, God help me, the driveway after the !#$$@!$@!$@$!@#! plows come through and leave about three feet of snow on my side of the street while depositing only about ten inches on the even side.
Not fun. Then again, it's better than the deep freeze we had about fifteen years ago, when it was -20 at night, the driveway froze solid, and I seriously contemplated moving to Florida.....
