While coming home tonight, the car suddenly lost power and would not accelerate. There were no diagnostic lights, engine temperature was fine, and I had the timing belt replaced just last week, so after pulling over a few seconds, I started up again and drove the last couple of miles home. It happened two more times, fairly quickly, and then was fine.
I have a call in to my mechanic and will have Sapphy towed down there tomorrow morning. I *hope* it's nothing serious....

It could be a whole lot of things, most likely a fuel filter though. There are usually two, one on the tank and one in the engine box. Winter is hard on them.

I'll keep you posted. Thanks!

best = fuel filter.
it isn't electrical, she started back up. the things that make a car go are gas and electricity, so it's fuel if not electrical, and if it isn't fuel, it's the brains.
Hope it's cheap and quick.

When I turned off the car, the residual heat of the engine would melt the ice. Good to go for a bit and then the same thing would happen.
Ah, those were the days.
