Veterans' Day

Four men I loved served in the war against the Nazis: my father in Europe and one uncle stateside as quartermasters, one uncle as an auditor in the Inspector General's office, and one uncle in the European theater as an infantryman and later as an officer's driver. They were all good men, and I honor their service.

I also know several veterans, including countessinn, , and harpnfiddle among others. Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you all.
