His current name is Pharaoh, and I found out about him through
chrisilin. Evidently he was brought in after being shot with a .22 through the lungs, and has made a fine recovery...only problem is that his owner couldn't afford his care and surrendered him.
I've fallen in love with his
picture, and from what
chrisilin tells me, he's healthy, very affectionate, and very even tempered. The only thing that is holding me back from having her send him up is the thought that maybe there's someone closer who needs a little friend...but if no one else wants him, I think he's going to be coming here toward the end of December.
And if this darling boy isn't enough, my friend Nan near Albany thinks she's found a mellow little girl for me. She was a barn kitty who was rescued by someone who's willing to foster her for a while but doesn't want her permanently, and she sounds just gorgeous. I'm going to go up to see her on the 17th, and sucker that I am, the odds are excellent that I'm going to bring her home, too.
Diamond and Malfoy won't know what hit them - but these two need a good home, and I think it's going to be the Last Homely Shack.
So much for not becoming a crazy divorcee with too many cats....

Don't wait until the end of the month to claim him - he will be locked in that cage until you show up, poor thing.
And barn cats are wonderful. Just don't tell Trinity I said that ;)
