Let's see...

- Not dead. Tired, but not dead.

- Had a great time at Kalamazoo; presented serious paper on reenactors that will appear in print later this year, presented joke paper on Jean-Louis de Pouffe at the Pseudo Society, hung out with friends, bought too many books, and generally had a great time.

- Gil has now fallen in the bathtub, drunk from the toilet, and stolen and eaten the yolk only of a soft boiled egg. He's also fluffier than ever, and Roomie caught him nesting *on the edge of the kitchen sink* one night for no discernible reason.

- May have screwed up checking account - how, I don't know, but it's somewhat disturbing. I'll call the bank tomorrow to see what's going on.

- I won a Cinco de Mayo raffle at the local blood bank and now have a basket of goodies waiting for me at the hospital. Looks like we'll have having some Mexican-themed potluck at Concentus on Sunday.

- Beyond not having nearly as much money as I'd like, life isn't bad at all.

Was that the Medieval Studies Conference you were at? My college advisor for my English degree was there, too! He just finished his book "An Introduction to the Glossa Ordinaria as Medieval Hypertext."

It was sure! I've gone every year since 2006 and have presented three times to date. It's fantastic.
