Thanksgiving prep is done

Work was quiet today, and reasonably productive. Afterwards, I went for a walk/run at the gym and feel pretty darn good; I had to switch from running to biking for a couple of weeks due to plantar fascitis brought on by improper shoes, but my new cross-trainers are doing the trick.

Afterwards I picked up ice cream, had dinner at my favorite Chinese place (leftovers for breakfast on Friday - what? some people eat cold pizza, I eat reheated Chinese!), and am baking a from-scratch apple/blueberry pie with from-scratch crust for my humble contribution to the holiday board. The cats are fed so I need not fear being consumed in the night :)

Tomorrow:

- Clean the catboxes.

- Clean myself.

- Have turkey with Tracy and her mother.

- Eat the pie with ice cream.

- Watch a movie.

- Leftovers.

- Another movie.

- Come home and collapse.

It'll be glorious.

I've got whole cranberry sauce and butter pie crust in the fridge, along with turkey tenderloins. Punpkin pie gets made first thing in the morning. later on, it'll be turkey, roast carrots & potatoes, stuffing with apple and celery added. Pie with whipped cream after. We've also laid in a good supply of beer and hard cider. I think we're all set :)
