I just heard the Governor of Michigan refer to his constituents as his "customers" during a radio interview.

What the - ???? Since when are the people of his state "customers"? Am I crazy, or is this guy?????

Was he really referring to the people of Michigan, or only to his campaign contributors (who have presumably paid him handsomely for services yet to be rendered)?
