It's a beautiful morning!

The sky is the deep, shimmering blue that only comes in spring and fall, and the air smells sweet and fresh. The Empire State Building is visible from the window, and -

Oh, did I mention I was in New York this weekend? And that I auditioned to be on Jeopardy! And then spent hours tromping around the Museum of Natural History, and Penn Station, and saw my college roommate, and am staying with a friend on East 35th before we go to a street fair and head over to the Village later today?

Seriously…as much as I love the Pioneer Valley, and my quiet life there, there are times when I need to visit the Queen of Cities. And this is one of them.

Enjoy! I hope the audition went well. Museum of Natural History and the Met Museum of Art are both places I enjoy seeing once in a while, along with the Morgan (my first visit was in December 2011).

And the Village will probably be very nice today, now that it's not exactly November-like outside... :)
