My new job starts today. I've reviewed Quickbooks, arranged my wardrobe, and packed a minimal lunch in case there's no place nearby for food.

Yes, I'm nervous. Not quite terrified, but nervous. This all happened so fast! Wish me luck, folks!

The good and the peculiar

The good -

First day at new job went really well. Turns out that there are indeed several SF/fantasy/gaming types there, which is officially a good thing. It's only been a day, but so far, so good.



The peculiar -

I just read an e-mail from someone I've never heard of claiming that I had called his/her work "horrible" on a quilting website, and that I should be ashamed of myself because s/he likes *my* work. I do not recall ever calling someone else's work "horrible" in print, have no web site of my own, and have written material up at only a handful of quilt history sites. Where this is coming from I have no idea, but I'm seriously confused.
