Last night when I was changing the litterbox I stepped on a tack.

Guess who's calling the doctor to see whether she needs a tetanus shot?

As for the car...I had Sapphy towed to my mechanic and will be picked up by my friend Todd and taken to work. I'll call my doctor when I get in, see whether I need to come in and when, and then probably have Todd take me there.

Then tomorrow I start the prep for my - drumroll - baseline colonoscopy on Wednesday. Fortunately it's being done by my surgeon, Dr. Wojcik, so I'm sure that jokes at the expense of my surgically reconstructed body part will abound.

I cannot WAIT for the weekend, let me tell you.

ARGH.

Good news for a change

I am current on my tetanus shot, which means I don't have to worry about getting lockjaw and dying in horrible hoop-shaped agony.

Unfortunately, Sapphy needs a new catalytic converter, an ignition coil, and a couple of new sensors, all of which means that right now it looks like no Pennsic for the third straight year.

*sigh*

I had a bunch of stuff to do around the house this summer anyway.....
