I found out this morning that I need to have a root canal ASAP. It will take place tomorrow night at 5:30, and the only reason it didn't happen this morning was because the ultrasonic sterilizer at my dentist's office overheated and set off the smoke alarm, and since my dentist owns the building he had to deal with it all himself.
Also, I'm about 90% certain, based on the numbness, tingling, and waking three straight mornings with my hands feeling like they're on fire, that I have carpal tunnel syndrome.
Just what I always #!!$@!$! wanted.

Thanks to the Americans with Disabilities Act, your employer has to make reasonable accomodation, which means providing a wrist support pad in front of your keyboard at work. If you don't already have a decent adjustable chair, you can make a pretty good argument for that as well.
Meawhile, (hug).
