This really sucks

My temporary crown broke last night *while I was asleep*. I woke up just after it had happened.

What do I do now? I'll call my dentist as soon as he's open, but I'm not sure if I even should try to fix it myself...

Just clean the area out and see your doctor ASAP. I don't think it will do anything more than jam food particles into the open area around the gum and tooth, so if that bothers you wait until you seer him to eat.
