Seriously. this column is supposed to be funny?

So glad I've never bought any of his faux folksy books, even if I do sometimes listen to his radio show because there's literally nothing else on. What was he thinking?

That was a really random, and obnoxious piece of writing.

I guess the Cambridge liberal elite are not only ruining the social order (since, "[Emerson's] hoo-ha [has] encouraged people who might've been excellent janitors to become bold and innovative economists who run a wealthy university into the ditch") but they're omg ruining Christmas as well!

I never thought that Keillor was amusing or entertaining to listen to and this bizarre screed didn't change my mind.
