Ever since Arisia, I've had this somewhat crazed desire for a steampunk hall costume. This may or may not be due to seeing
cluegirl and
aquila_dominus in all their glory :), but I've been going through my fabric stash and have come to realize that I have almost everything I need to make something really pretty cool.
Alas, I'm a crappy pattern drafter...so I turned to the world's greatest pattern company and purchased three of their wares.
Watch this space for further developments :) This is going to be mega-spiffy.

Date: 2010-01-29 12:58 pm (UTC)From:I played with steampunk for the first time a few Halloweens ago. I haven't really done anything with it since, but still have a strong urge to do so. Hopefully I will be able to do so in the next few months, and some events/venues are coming up.
